وزارت قانون و انصاف کا کہنا ہے کہ وزارت قانون نے جسٹس منصور کا بطور چیف جسٹس کوئی نوٹیفکیشن جاری نہیں کیا۔
خیال رہے کہ جسٹس منصور علی شاہ سپریم کورٹ کے سینیئر جج ہیں اور موجودہ چیف جسٹس قاضی فائز عیسیٰ کی ریٹائرمنٹ کے بعد چیف جسٹس بنیں گے۔
